At Health Shield, our goal is to help people live healthy, happy lives. We believe in the power of community and how coming together can boost everyone's wellbeing. That’s why we're excited to share that we've joined the Cheshire 100, an inspiring effort by the Cheshire Community Foundation.
Since 2012, the Cheshire Community Foundation has brought hope and support to many by distributing over £14 million in grants to community groups and organisations in Cheshire and Warrington. They focus on specific community needs, making strategic moves to tackle urgent issues like mental health, food poverty, and much more. Their impact is priceless, having reached nearly 900,000 people since 2012.
By joining the Cheshire 100, we're now part of a group of businesses and individuals dedicated to making Cheshire and Warrington thrive. The foundation’s focus on mental health and wellness, with over £419,000 awarded to related projects, really connects with our values. Their dedication to tackling food poverty and creating brighter futures is something we're proud to support.
At Health Shield, we're passionate about helping people reach their full potential in health and life experiences. We see this as a fantastic opportunity to extend our help beyond health cash plans. One of the standout projects supported by the Cheshire Community Foundation is the "Brighter Futures" fund. This innovative program is designed to ignite dreams, open doors, and empower young people to design their own futures.
